While birdwatching Pantanos de Villa today with Edmund Mackrill we saw this Black Tern (Chlidonias niger) but would like some confirmation as this species is not common here.

This weird Black-Tyrant was photographed near San Juan del Oro at around 2000m altitude. It behaved just like a White-winged Black-Tyrant (which was common at the same altitude near Abra Maruncunca), so I concluded it probably was just a partly leucistic bird...but it does boggle my mind a bit. Has anyone else seen something similar in this species?
