Note the presence of a rufous-necked "morph" in striatus. The adult individual is from Santa Cruz, Bolivia (a female). The immature bird is from Piura. I have seen at least rufous-necked immatures with some regularity in Peru. An adult would be more eye-catching. Note the paler belly than a true virescens. This appears to be visible in the Manu photo. Backs of "normal" striatus are silvery-gray, but the rufous-necked bird has as green a back as a virescens.
