Comments:
The ¨vice-mayor¨´s family had sling shot and probably clubbed an immature eagle and had it caged in a very small cage for 2 weeks. The man of the house was not home and Antonio tried to negotiate with the wife for the release of the eagle. He offered 20 soles and I added that I would make a contribution to the school of 50 soles in his name for the end of term celebrations. She was afraid that her husband would be angry. After much persuading on Antonio´s part, talking to the man´s father, I think, they agreed to let it go.
