The disjunct distribution makes one suspect there may be two species involved. Vocie of the Colombian subspecies hershkowitzi is apparantly not known. An expedition to see this subspecies and especially record its song would give valuable info (and could be rewarded with rediscovery runner-up points if it proves to be a good species)
